Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 1, 2025
Elevate Your Wealth & Wellness is committed to delivering a website and digital products that are accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability, device, or context. Our goal is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
Scope
This statement covers content at elevateyourwealthandwellness.com (the “Site”), including pages, posts, images, downloadable files (e.g., PDFs), and embedded media we manage. Some third-party integrations (e.g., payment processors or embedded widgets) may present accessibility considerations that are outside of our full control; we continuously evaluate alternatives and raise issues with vendors as needed.
Measures We Take
- Use semantic HTML with landmarks (
<header>,<nav>,<main>,<footer>) and proper heading order (H1→H2→H3). - Ensure keyboard accessibility (visible focus states, logical tab order, no keyboard traps).
- Provide text alternatives for non-text content (alt text, captions, transcripts).
- Maintain color contrast targets that meet or exceed WCAG 2.2 AA.
- Support Ctrl/Cmd + + text resizing up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Use ARIA only to enhance, not replace, semantic markup.
- Test with screen readers and automated tools during major releases.
Conformance Status
We are actively working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance. Based on periodic audits, most templates and common user journeys (home page, navigation, blog index, post pages, product pages, checkout links) are partially conformant with known items tracked in our backlog (see “Planned Improvements”).
Known Limitations
- Legacy PDFs: A small number of older documents may lack tags or sufficient structure. Workaround: request an accessible version and we’ll prioritize it.
- 3rd-party embeds: Some forms/media players may not fully meet WCAG when vendors update UI. We monitor and escalate issues to providers.
- Caption gaps: A few older videos may not yet have closed captions/transcripts. We’re adding them in batches.
Planned Improvements (Roadmap)
- Complete tagging of remaining PDFs and offer HTML alternatives for key resources.
- Audit and normalize focus indicators across all interactive components.
- Add audio descriptions to top evergreen videos.
- Expand language attributes and improve skip-to-content links sitewide.
Assistive Technology & Browser Support
We test representative flows using:
- Screen readers: NVDA + Firefox, JAWS + Chrome, VoiceOver (macOS + iOS).
- Browsers: current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
- Devices: desktop, tablet, and mobile viewport sizes; both pointer and keyboard-only input.
Requesting Alternatives & Reporting Barriers
If you need content in an alternative format (accessible PDF, large print, plain text, audio transcript) or encounter any barriers, please contact us and include the page/asset URL and a brief description of the issue.
Response time: We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and provide a resolution or timeline within 10 business days.
Ongoing Governance
- Standard: WCAG 2.2 AA (monitoring 3.0 draft developments).
- Review cadence: Quarterly sitewide checks and before major releases.
- Owner: Accessibility Lead (Web Team) – reachable via the contact us link above.
Legal & Global Audience
We design for global accessibility and strive to align with widely adopted standards (WCAG 2.2 AA). Where local laws impose specific requirements, we will seek to meet or exceed them while maintaining a consistent, inclusive experience.
